Agnes Mlynarska

Founder of ArTeva Acupuncture
Licensed Acupuncturist/Massage Therapist
New York Board Certified - LAc, LMT, MSTOM

Agnes Mlynarska is the founder of ArTeva Acupuncture. She is both a licensed acupuncturist and massage therapist. Agnes created ArTeva as a holistic medical practice that allows her to employ both her Eastern and Western education in medicinal therapies.  As a result, ArTeva harnesses the healing powers of both tradition and contemporary acupuncture, Chinese herbal remedies, manual therapy techniques as well as her background in anatomy, neurology, kinesiology, sports, and orthopedic therapeutics. Through her customized treatment sessions, Agnes utilizes this multi-modality approach to help patients recover from chronic pain as well as sports and orthopedic injuries. Her philosophy can be best summed up by this quote: “The body is not like a t-shirt where you can take it off and put on a new one. We are born with one body.”

This perspective, and the reverence it pays toward the human body, inspires Agnes’ practice. She helps patients find holistic and prescription-drug-free alternatives to solving their issues.  For every patient, her ultimate goal is to return the body to its natural order and balance. As a healer and a guide to wellness, Agnes’ work can triggers powerful shifts and provides necessary tools to acclimate as well as maintain any new equilibrium in the body.

Agnes received her Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine (MSTOM) degree from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine where she trained in acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. Along with her education in traditional Eastern acupuncture, she is certified in the latest contemporary needle techniques such as Sports Medicine Acupuncture, Neurofunctional acupuncture, and Myofascial Trigger Point dry needling. In 2010, Agnes founded her affiliate company, Teva Massage, where she helps restore the body’s balance to long-term injury sufferers through the power of her brand of massage. She received her training in massage therapy from the Swedish Institute College of Health Science and specializes in Sports, Orthopedic, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point/Motor Point Therapy.
